Basic Principles and Technologies in Bioinformatics

The course is mainly focused on presenting the principals, the technologies and the tools for the analysis of biomedical data from the cellular and subcellular level e.g. biological data from genomics and proteomics, from the bioinformatics level, the application of techniques for the processing of data from the area of Biomedical Engineering, as well as the description of basic principles for the development of models and techniques for biomedical simulations from the area of bio-computing for the understanding of physiological and biological systems.
