Professor Konstantina Nikita has been appointed Global Chair of the University of Bath for the academic year 2022-23.

Professor Konstantina Nikita has been appointed Global Chair of the University of Bath for the academic year 2022-23. She is among the four distinguished international visiting professors that will be joining Bath to enhance its strategic research network with universities and research institutes overseas.

Professor Nikita will be hosted by the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering to form multiple research collaborations in at least three of Bath’s key research centres and participate in a number of key research projects in the areas of health and digitalisation, including: AI-assisted multisensory inputs for augmenting physical performance, subcutaneous implantable sensing device technology and artificial retinal devices for augmented human vision. She will also engage with the Faculty Women in Engineering Society and the Vertically Integrated Project (VIP) Team Bath Biodevices without Borders.
