On November 12, 2024, Konstantina Nikita delivered a keynote talk titled “Towards Robust and Reliable AI-Empowered Health Ecosystems” at the IEEE International Conference on Biomedical and Health and Informatics in Houston Texas, USA. The talk explored how advances in wireless, wearable, and ambient technologies combined with advanced analytics create new opportunities for optimizing treatment and facilitating effective self-disease management. By integrating heterogeneous data sources with existing medical knowledge, AI-empowered systems can deliver more precise diagnosis, timely prognosis, and personalized interventions.
