Vassileios Kolias obtained the Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras in 2009, and the M.Sc degree in Biomedical engineering from the University of Patras & NTUA in 2011. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in the BIOSIM Laboratory, SECE, NTUA. He has authored 3 research papers that were presented in international conferences and he is participating as a research associate in the CAROTID project (09SYN-12-1054). His research interest are medical informatics, semantic web technologies, CAD systems, CDSS systems and AI in health
